WeCafe - Chaofa ~ “Salad | Coffee | Family” — Restaurant in Chalong

I really like this cafe! I went twice during my recent short stay in Phuket. I had the delicious grilled fish twice too! The fish fillet was boneless, not oily and most importantly it was fresh. It was also not heavily seasoned and thus, it retained the natural sweetness of fresh fish fillet. The mashed potato was creamy and yummy. The mixed berry jam that was served with the fish truly made a difference in the overall taste. Excellent combination! I also ordered their chicken salad with avocado. The salad was really fresh and crunchy. Their mango wrap was also very good. The sweet corn soup was such a comfort food. It was mashed sweet corn with bits of corn kernel. It was served warm with a small piece of bread. I really wish I could try more dishes during my visit. Perhaps, another time in near future! But, the only negative point is you have to walk up a slight slope towards the main dining hall. It can be a challenge for the elderly or people with special needs. But, all the staff are very friendly and they are ready to provide free wheelchair service. There is also a well-maintained toilet specially for people with special needs or wheelchair users. This cafe and restaurant grows their own lettuce in a hydroponics farm. Taste the freshness in your salad and appreciate the lower carbon footprint and environmental impact that WE Cafe strives to provide; it's great knowing your food didn't travel kilometers upon kilometers to get to you.

Not a salad person? No problem. Try their green curry pizza for something different. Although, the first time I had their green curry pizza, it was pretty amazing. The second and third time (yes, you can tell I was a fan of their food here) the consistency was lacking. So, I will ding them for that.

The bathrooms are kinda fun with them partially being outdoors. I get a fresh view of the farm while going number one which...can be refreshing or awkward depending on how you look at it. Nonetheless, it is better than taking your "break" in a smelly hotbox.

Parking is abundant with a small overflow lot, but they do get busy around lunch time.

It's was wonderful during the first time my boyfriend and I visited this restaurant, and that's why make us coming back to visit here again. Unfortunately this time is very disappoint us. First, after we ordered the meal, we already mentioned that we want to have starter and the main course, which mean the salad should come first. But the waitress who has long hair and tide a pony tail served us the burger first. After we informed her to giving us the starter first, she just bring us another main course, which was start to annoy us a little bit. But we inform her second time, she just took the dishes away and gave us a bad attitude and mean face. After we finally finish the salad, the main course they served were just reheated but not remade. The reason we finish it just because we paid already. It very disappoint us and also make us doubt that whether the service quality is lower than before.
